Channel Huntsville is a Power Poole property seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to drive new business in assigned markets and territories primarily on the telephone, and internet using client-centric sales techniques.

Business Developer::

Duties include, but are not limited to, assessments of marketing opportunities and target markets, intelligence gathering on customers and competitors, generating leads for sales, and follow up sales activity.

This is a sales position that requires the ability to confidently and empathically interact with marketing managers and business owners. The Sales Consultant will drive new business by generating leads for sales and nurturing leads from company-driven marketing activities. The SC reports to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Generate leads from a defined market and territory.
* Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects and existing accounts over the phone, via email and in person as appropriate.
* Timely responding and selling to new opportunities.
* Manage time effectively and be self-accountable.
* Ensure that the sales and lead reports are accurate and timely including pipeline forecasting.
* Follow up to confirm proper follow through for prospects and existing accounts.
* Attend trade shows and perform related follow-up work.

Experience:

Must be a proven closer. Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented and confident with excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to get through the gatekeeper quickly and form substantive integrity-based relationships. Proficiency with Internet, Office and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of database and pipeline management is essential.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
Revenue Share opportunities available.
